Blue Line Home Watch services include weekly or bi-weekly inspections of your exterior and interior of your home. We provide comprehensive and customized home watch services for your home to help safeguard your property. We will arrive at random times during the visits, walk the property, and be present for you when you are away.

Exterior Inspection:
Perimeter Inspections: We will walk the perimeter of your property to identify signs of vandalism, broken or cracked windows, unsecured doors, forced entry, or any weather-related damage.
Debris Removal: Remove any flyers, brochures, trash, or other debris that could signal an unoccupied home.
Occupied Appearance Maintenance: Take measures to safeguard your home and help maintain an occupied and care for appearance.
Exterior Lighting Check: Test and confirm that all exterior lights are functioning properly for security and safety. We can even conduct evening “drive-bys” if you choose that service and check to determine if the home lighting is working and appropriate.
Roof Visual Inspection: Perform a visual inspection of the roof for any apparent damage, missing shingles, storm debris, or heavy snow buildup.
Contractor Service Verification: We will verify that lawn care, snow removal, and pool service contractors are meeting your expectations.
Outside Faucet And Spigot Inspections: Check all outdoor faucets and spigots for leaks, damage, or signs of freezing.
Yard, Sidewalk, And Driveway Cleanup: Remove visible debris from the yard, driveway, and sidewalks to keep the property neat and presentable
Landscaping And Tree Inspection: Inspect landscaping plants and trees for signs of damage, disease, or overgrowth.
Interior Inspection:
Damage And Leak Inspections: Visually inspect doors, windows, and ceilings for signs of damage, water leaks, mold or any pest infestations.
Temperature And Humidity Checks: We will verify air conditioning and heating systems are maintaining the desired temperatures and measure recurrent humidity levels.
Timers And Appliance Checks: Inspect and test timers, appliances (e.g., refrigerators, dishwashers, garbage disposals) to safeguard they are sanitized and functional. Run the dishwasher on a rinse cycle to keep seals from drying up.
Interior Lighting And Smoke / CO Alarms Inspections: Confirm all interior lights are operational for safety / appearance and check functionality of smoke and CO alarms
Water System Checks: Turn the water on and inspect faucets, flush all toilets, run the water in all sinks, showers to prevent stagnant water, moisten the seals, and check for leaks. Ensure water systems are turned off upon departure.
Odor And Alarm Investigation: Investigate any irregular odors, sounds, or alarms notifications within the home.
Electrical System Inspection: Check breaker panels for tripped circuits and reset appliances, timers, and clocks following power outages.
Security System Verification: Verify that your system is operational and functioning as intended.
Garage Door Functionality: Confirm garage doors and mechanism are working properly upon your return.
Water Softener / Water Heater Systems: Inspect and confirm the water softener and water heater are operating properly if left on during the time away.
Wi-Fi And Internet Verification: The Wi-Fi and internet are the “life lines” of your home. We will check the functionality and verify the services are operational.

Home Preparation For Your Return: Adjusting heat or AC to normal settings, turning the water supply back on, reactivating the hot water heater and turning on the ice maker.

Food and Beverage Restocking: We will pick up your preordered food and beverages to replenish refrigerators and pantries with your preferred items.

Blue Line Home Watch is accredited by the National Home Watch Association and uses the latest technology for monthly billing and securing your personal information. We exclusively use Home Watch IT, the only Home Watch software solution endorsed and affiliated with the National Home Watch Association. By using this software, we will email and / or text a secured link to a customized report to you from a secure portal. We prioritize transparency and professionalism, ensuring our clients feel secure and confident in our services.
