In one instance, we got a panicked call from our housekeeper about a CO2 alarm that was blaring and she was afraid to work in the house. Brian arranged to have the home checked for gas, and it turned out to be a faulty monitor. He replaced the defective unit, and all was well.
Another winter he called us in Alabama to report that he found our home furnace was not working during a frigid, below-zero day. He arranged a meeting with our Sedgwick Heating service technician at our home, and it was determined that the heat exchanger on the furnace had failed. He acted as our liaison with Sedgwick as they set up temporary heaters until they could install a new furnace. Had he not be so observant, we could have suffered costly damages to our home due to a failed furnace during the coldest spell of the winter!
