What is a Home Watch Service?

A Home Watch service involves routine inspections of unoccupied or vacant homes.  It is a visual inspection of a home or property, looking for obvious issues.  We are also a visible presence in your home, that may act as a crime deterrent.

What if we have an emergency after hours or on weekends?

We are available to you 24 hours a day via phone, text, and email.

Do you monitor service companies such as lawn, pool/spa, pest, snow removal etc.?

Blue Line Home Watch monitors the entire home for maintenance needs and report them to you and/or make necessary repairs.

Do you offer concierge services?

Yes, we offer many services ranging from mail management, home project oversight, vehicle maintenance, plant care, home preparation for your return, pre-arrival/final walkthroughs, food/beverage pick-up and anything else….Just ask?

How often do you come for a Home Watch visit?

We recommend weekly or bi-weekly home watch visits so that we can address issues that arise in a timely manner. The purpose of the visits is to identify problems or potential problems that can occur to your home and assist in mitigating them.  We provide a physical presence at your home and your advocate when you are away.

What are your credentials?

Blue Line Home Watch is accredited by the National Home Watch Association. We have been vetted, backgrounded and approved by this organization. We are fully bonded and insured to protect your home and provide you with peace of mind.

Do you require a contract?

Yes, Blue Line Home Watch requires a signed service contract. You can schedule home watch visits as needed. You will only be charged for the times we visit your home or condo and any additional concierge services.

 

If you find a problem, what type of notification will I receive?

Blue Line Home Watch will send you a real-time report upon completion of our visit to your home. Any problems identified will be accompanied by pictures and details of the problem. If we take any  action to prevent further damage, we will contact you immediately to discuss what occurred and consider what course of action is needed for the repair.

What communities do you serve?

Blue Line Home Watch serves the Lake Minnetonka communities and western suburbs of Excelsior, Shorewood, Tonka Bay, Greenwood, Deephaven, Orono, Medina, Minnetonka, Victoria, Wayzata, Woodland, and Eden Prairie.
